PQS will not be updated with new data from the 5th August 2009

9th July 2009

From the 5th August 2009 the PQS data will no longer be updated with the normal weekly releases. We will maintain the PQS service on the pre-August 2009 data until January 2010 to allows on going research to be completed. The PQS service is being phased out due to the replacement by the more advanced (and automated) service called PISA. We highly recommend that scientists use the PISA service in preference as soon as possible due to the higher quality of the quarternary structure information offered by this services.

それなりに重要な仕事道具であるPQS終了のお知らせですよいやはや。
諸事情によりPQSにはいろいろと思い入れがあるだけに、なんともはや。
にしても、乗り換え先にPISAを出してくるのはお約束として、PQS同様PISAもまるっとダウンロードできないと乗り換えきびしいのですが。サーバーじゃなくて。できれば裏技とか製作者にコンタクトとるとかじゃなく、普通に置いといてほしいんだけども。*1

• しっかし（同じく仕事道具である）SCOPもこんな日がいつか来るかもしれないわけで。そっちはもっと被害甚大だろうなあ。
• この手の専門ネタこそg.hatenaの方に投げるべきなのかも、とちょっと思ってみたり。でもやっぱり自分の日記の方が気軽に更新できますよ。
